The Bury St Edmunds-based company, which operates nationally, has expanded its management team of HV experts as part of its strategic approach to business succession and to maximise on growing opportunities in its core markets.
The team, which is led by Divisional Director Stuart Weatherston, have already played a fundamental role in Dunamis’ growth in sectors which have seen a surge in demand for the highly-specialist expertise and experience the company brings to the industry.
Stuart, a HV specialist with three decades of experience in the electricity industry, joined Dunamis more than five years ago as Operations Director and has progressed through senior roles before becoming Divisional Director.
In the new management team, the role of Operations Director has been taken by experienced HV project management specialist Iain McNeil who has been promoted from Senior Project Manager. He has been joined by new Commercial Director Selina Everall who takes on this role after joining the business as Head of Pre-Construction.
The team is completed by new Technical Director Garet Duncan, who is a highly experienced HV protection and commissioning expert.
Under the direction of the new team, Dunamis, which is part of Fulcrum Group, will build on its strong performance in the design and delivery of complex HV I&C connections, and HV connections in the renewable energy market for solar farms, wind farms and battery energy storage sites (BESS).
It is one of only a small number of ICPs in the UK fully accredited on the LRQA NERS register with the ability to design and deliver electrical infrastructure projects up to 132kV. These capabilities and the expertise of its highly experienced and specialist team, enables Dunamis to support projects in the most effective, flexible and innovative way possible.
We’re delighted to be leading the business in what is a very vibrant and exciting time in the HV sector. This new management team has the advantage of having extensive industry experience coupled with being rooted in Dunamis’ culture. This has ensured we have developed an exceptional reputation for delivery and built trusted long-term relationships with clients and supply chain partners.
Enhancing the structure in the business provides a platform for further scalability as we continue to increase our market share of HV projects, particularly in the renewable energy market, which requires our essential and highly specialist skills and capabilities.
