Fulcrum Group appoints new Head of Pre-Construction Delivery to strengthen customer delivery
Fulcrum Group has promoted Michelle Lane to the newly created role of Head of Pre-Construction Delivery as part of its ongoing strategy to strengthen customer delivery, improve continuity across projects and support growth across the business.
Michelle, who joined the business more than four years ago, will oversee and lead the integration of several key pre-construction functions across the Group.
The new role brings together project coordination, planning and street works management into a more streamlined structure, creating a single, joined-up pre-construction team designed to enhance communication, efficiency and customer experience during delivery.
Based between the Group’s Sheffield and Bury St Edmunds offices, Michelle brings extensive experience in street works, local authority liaison and utility infrastructure planning and coordination.
Prior to joining Fulcrum Group, she held senior roles within traffic management and local authority environments and currently serves as First Chair of Pillar 4 Technology, Data & Innovation for HAUC (UK) Vision 2030, the UK’s street works advisory body focused on improving collaboration and standards across the utility and highways sectors.
This new role is about creating better continuity throughout the customer journey and removing unnecessary handovers between departments. By bringing these functions together into one team, we can provide a more streamlined and consistent customer experience.
As a business, we are always looking at ways to continually improve how we deliver projects and support our customers. The new pre-construction structure will strengthen communication internally, improve efficiency and ultimately help us deliver projects more successfully for our customers.
